Based on a patent issued in 1984, a single pair of electrodes (without the need for any ground) provides gentle stimulation, mediated* through the fifth (Vth) and seventh (VIIth) cranial nerves, such that the benefits are received by the entire masticatory and facial musculature.
  3. Iontophoreis - used to deliver anti-inflammatory drugs and local anesthetics to areas of inflammation and pain with out the use of hypodermic injections.
  4. Infrared - used to alleviate chronic pain, increase circulation and promote the healing process.
  5. Ultrasound -  therapeutic ultrasound is a method of stimulating tissue with sound waves beneath the skins surface.
